   Статья посвящена изучению развития идеи гражданского общества от Античности до наших дней и анализу интерпретации государства в соприкосновении с идеей гражданского общества. Исследуется проблема разграничения категорий гражданское общество и государство, выделяются общие черты этих категорий. Делается вывод о том, что окончательное разделение этих двух понятий не состоялось, необходимо изучение данного вопроса юридической наукой при помощи современных научных методов.

   The article is devoted to the evolution of the ideas of civil society from Antiquity to the present day and the analysis of the interpretation of the state in contact with the idea of a social society. The problem of distinguishing between the categories of civil society and the state is investigated, and common features of these categories are highlighted. It is concluded that the final separation of these two concepts did not take place, it is necessary to study this issue of legal science using modern scientific methods.
