В статье авторы рассматривают научную деятельность академика В.П. Ларионова, определяют его вклад в организацию науки в Якутии. Делается вывод, что Ларионов отдал много сил и энергии для того, чтобы упростить жизнь северян плодами научно-технического прогресса. Развитие горнодобывающей промышленности, газо- и нефтедобычи и их транспортировки, модернизация и создание техники, приспособленной к суровым условиям холодного климата, газификация сельского населения, водоснабжение и ирригация, реформирование науки и образовательного процесса, подготовка и воспитание научных кадров, создание и развитие алмазогранильной промышленности, строительство современного медицинского центра и многое другое - это республиканские проекты, которые были начаты по инициативе В.П. Ларионова и при его активном участии.
The article considers the scientific activity of Academician V. P. Larionov, determines his contribution to the organization of science in Yakutia. It is concluded that Larionov gave a lot of effort and energy in order to simplify the life of northerners with the fruits of scientific and technological progress. The development of the mining industry, gas and oil production and their transportation, modernization and creation of equipment adapted to the harsh conditions of the cold climate, gasification of the rural population, water supply and irrigation, reform of science and the educational process, training and education of scientific personnel, the creation and development of the diamond-cutting industry, the construction of a modern medical center and much more are republican projects that were initiated on his initiative and active participation.
