Abstract
Theimportance of the Arctic zone in the socio-economic and geostrategic development of the Russian Federation is significant. One of the most important capitals of any state is people. One of the most important goals of Arctic development is to maintain the quality of life of citizens who live in these territories. The article examines the main tasks that Russia has set for itself for the effective and full development of the Arctic zone as one of the geostrategic territories.
