Abstract

The administrative and legal status of a university is an important component of its activities. This article discusses the problems of the administrative and legal status of a university and possible ways to solve it. We are talking about the need to ensure the autonomy and independence of the educational institution, control the quality of the educational process, finance universities and ensure the rights of students and employees. The article also points out the importance of developing and applying appropriate legislation that would guarantee the autonomy of universities and ensure their effective functioning and development.
