Forensic characteristics of the prevalence, subject and method of illegal drug trafficking committed using the Internet

Abstract
The article reflects such elements of forensic characteristics of illegal drug trafficking committed using the Internet as prevalence, subject and method of criminal encroachment using the example of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia). Statistical data are studied; objective patterns characterizing the subject and methods of preparation, commission and concealment of illegal drug trafficking using the capabilities of the Internet are identified, summarized and presented. The presented in the article can form the basis for improving the methodology for investigating these crimes, developing practical recommendations for agencies investigating crimes in the field of illegal drug trafficking.
