On the issue of providing state guarantees and compensations under аrticle 186 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation
Abstract
The article deals with the issues of providing rest days related to blood donation and/or its components, refusal by the employer to provide such days and unauthorized use of such days by an employee if the employer refuses to provide them. The search, selection, systematization and analysis of judicial practice in cases on the application of Article 186 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation were carried out.The authors propose to establish at the legislative level the obligation to inform the employer of the intention to donate blood and (or) its components in a notification manner.
