Abstract
The article examines the history of the development of the primary trade union organization of students of the M.K.AmmosovNorth-Eastern Federal University. The relevance of the topic is set by the fact that public associations have always played a key role in the socialization of young people. The authors attempt to analyze the stages of development of the primary trade union organization of students of the M. K. AmmosovNorth-Eastern Federal University. Based on the memoirs of veterans of the primary organization of YSU, graduates of NEFU, features of the evolution of the students’ trade union are considered.
