Prospects for the development of the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation: challenges and trends

Abstract

The article examines the issue of experience in the use and implementation of the currently new institution of a modern model of open development of territories of the Russian state – a special economic zone (SEZ). The tasks and measures to strengthen the state policy of the Russian Federation for the effective development of the Arctic zone have been identified. Proposals have been formulated to improve the quality of human life in the Russian Arctic.
